Wind2 and Solar2 are proud to once again support Community Foundation Wales’s Our Communities Together – A Cost-of-Living Crisis appeal.

Wind2 and sister company Solar2, Welsh-owned and headquartered renewable energy developers, proudly support Community Foundation Wales's Our Communities Together – A Cost-of-Living Crisis appeal.

Our Communities Together

are once again partnering with media company Newsquest, money raised from the appeal will aid Welsh groups and charities making a significant difference for local people and communities.

Believing in the power of community, Wind2 and Solar2 are disheartened by the challenges faced due to the cost-of-living crisis, by Welsh groups and charities delivering vital services.

Sarah Smith, Managing Director of Wind2 and Solar2 stated, “It is saddening that the cost-of-living crisis continues. As Welsh Headquartered Businesses, Wind2 and Solar2 are very proud to support local communities through project community benefit funds, local employment and donations that make tangible differences. As such, we were pleased to once again support the Our Communities Together – A Cost-of Living crisis appeal who are helping those in sever financial difficulty make ends meet.”

The donation will support services such as food banks, warm hubs providing hot meals, and debt and benefits advice, along with grants to charities and groups helping vulnerable members of our communities facing significant hardship.

Richard Williams, Chief Executive of Community Foundation Wales said: “We are so grateful to Wind2 and Solar2 for their continued support of Our Communities Together - a cost of living crisis appeal. Their generous donation will enable us to continue to support charities and community organisations across Wales to help those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis.

With the support of businesses like Wind2 and Solar2, who passionately believe in the value of local community, we can make a real difference to the many people struggling through the cost-of-living crisis, ensuring that the organisations supporting those most in need can keep doing so now, and in the difficult months to come.”

Community Foundation Wales would like to help as many people across Wales as possible and are calling on individuals and businesses who are able to support the appeal.
